ADA Restroom Signs

ADA restroom signs are used when code requires the building to be ADA compliant.  The minimum requirements for ADA are found in the ADA Accessibility Guidelines for Buildings and Facilities - Signage.

ADA restroom sign requirements include installing the the sign at the correct height.  It might be easy enough to correct the height on ADA compliant restroom signs but we have supplied a diagram to the left to help get it right the first time.

California ADA restroom signs are normally placed on the door with a standard restroom sign placed on the wall next to the door handle.  Braille is included on the California Title 24 restroom signs so that if the sign is used on a wall it is ADA compliant.
